Using global shutter technology with a constant or pulsing built-in IR light, AXIS P1486-LE delivers clear low-distortion images of fast-moving objects - even in complete darkness. Built on ARTPEC-9 and featuring a light sensitive 1/1.8" sensor, it offers excellent image quality and forensic usability at 3 MP up to 60 fps, or up to 270 fps in lower resolutions. Scene profiles make it easy to optimize image quality by selecting the right settings for your environment. Plus, OptimizedIR enables surveillance in total darkness up to 80 m (262 ft). In addition, with sync output you can connect an additional third-party strobing illuminator.

This robust, impact-resistant outdoor-ready camera features a 10-40 mm telephoto lens with a 44°–11° horizontal field of view for surveillance from a distance. With electronic image stabilization it ensures smooth video even when the camera is subject to vibrations. It can handle extreme temperatures from -40°C to 60 °C (-40 to 140°F) and winds up to 60 m/s (134 mph). Ideal for remote locations, it’s easy to install, maintain, and operate. For instance, it can be powered with DC and PoE for power redundancy. What’s more, Axis Edge Vault, our hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and operation.
