Composition in Your Hand
The new Osmo FrameTap mirrors the view from your phone or the Multifunctional Module 2. Whether you are framing a rear-camera selfie or directing a shot from a distance, your composition stays clear and in your control.
Locks on To Anything
The new Multifunctional Module 2 tracks more than people, cats, or dogs. It follows general objects too. From collectibles to sleek cars to landmarks, Osmo Mobile 8P keeps them centered. Highlight and switch focus as your story unfolds.
Integrated Design, Ready To Create
Osmo Mobile 8P features a built-in extension rod and tripod for instant versatility. Add the Multifunctional Module 2 for a handy fill light setup.
Pro Framing and Tracking Phone Gimbal
The Osmo Mobile 8P is a pro-grade 3-axis phone gimbal built around a detachable remote - the Osmo FrameTap - that gives you live framing and one-tap subject locking from your hand or at a distance. It runs ActiveTrack 8.0 for crowd-penetrating subject tracking, supports Apple DockKit for native app tracking, and pairs with the Multifunctional Module 2 to follow people, animals, and general objects. 10-hour battery, built-in extension rod and tripod, 360° pan rotation, and USB-C phone charging round out the package.
Built for Solo Creators on the Move
Content creators and vloggers who shoot solo or in dynamic environments - concerts, sports, travel - and need reliable hands-free tracking without a dedicated camera operator. The FrameTap remote makes it especially suited for anyone who wants to frame and direct shots independently, whether that's rear-camera selfies, low-angle pet shots, or overhead crowd footage.
The Only Osmo Mobile With a Detachable Remote
The 8P is the only Osmo Mobile with the FrameTap remote (phone screen mirroring + tap-to-track), Multifunctional Module 2 compatibility (object tracking + fill light), and the wider split tripod design (97mm radius vs. 77mm on the 8/7P). ActiveTrack 8.0 is shared across the current lineup, but the 8P adds the remote control layer and expanded module ecosystem that the standard 8 and below lack.
