Atklāt un parādīt citiem ko īpašu mūsu apkārtējā vidē - šī bija ELKO kalendāra 2011 galvenā ideja. Vietas, cilvēki, lietas un sajūtas valstī, kurā mēs dzīvojam vai valstīs, uz kurām esam ceļojuši.

ELKO valstis.
Atsaucība foto konkursam bija ļoti liela un tika saņemtas vairāk kā 500 bildes. Mēs ceram, ka gan paši fotogrāfiju autori, gan mūsu kolēģi, kas balsoja par 12 labākajām bildēm, atklāja priekš sevis ko jaunu un vēlreiz pārliecinājās, ka visapkārt ir tik daudz skaistu un īpašu parādību.
Par to var pārliecināties, aplūkojot visas ELKO kolēģu iesūtītās bildes un uzzinot dažādus faktus par katru ELKO valsti, kuras līdz šim ir bijušas neiepazītas.
Mēs pateicamies visiem ELKO darbiniekiem, kas piedalījās foto konkursā un balsoja par ELKO kalendāra 2011 labākajām bildēm. Šis konkurss norisinājās jau otro gadu pēc kārtas un ir radusies jauna tradīcija, kas tiks turpināta.

Jau šobrīd mūsu prātos dzimst jaunas idejas ELKO kalendāram 2012, bet īpaši pateicamies tiem fotogrāfiju autoriem, kas šī gada kalendāram piedeva krāsas un īpašo nozīmi: Jevgēnijam Ščolokovam, Jasmin Osana, Edgaras Korolkovas, Catalina Marinescu, Nenad Babic, Irena Stebej, Aleksej Mogutov, Julia Filimonova, Tomas Bartko, Elena Chekushina.
